Everest Base Camp Trek

Mount Everest has two base camps, one in Nepal and other in China. The climbers on expeditions make use of both these base camps. The ascent to this peak are either from North Side or South side of Mt.Everest.

Everest Base Camp Trek

The porters and Sherpa are instrumental in setting up these base camp. They bring in the food and equipment needed for trek or expeditions. The North Base Camp, Nepal is located at an altitude of 17,601 ft above sea level. A minimum of 14 days time is sufficient to reach base camp from Kathmandu and be back. March to June and September to November are considered to be ideal seasons for this trek.
