Reaching Kalymnos:

Book a flight to Athens, Greece and further flight to Kos island followed by a short boat ride and you’ll be at Kalymnos.

Best time to climb:

Although year round climbing is possible, September- October and April- May are best.

Climing:

Many climbers explain Kalymnos as “the epitome of sport climbing.”

Here, you get to climb on the top quality limestone. There are no loose or rotten rocks on routes. You can climb on a variety of rock ranging from slabs where you do delicate and balanced moves. There are many pumpy routes with pocket holds. Its also fun to climb the tufas and stalactites on overhangs and roofs. The rock is sharper sometimes too.
