How to Prevent Weight Gain during Staying at Home?

Can we prevent weight gain during staying at home without working out or burning any calories?
There are circumstances in life when we have to do, what we never want to do. But we have no choice besides doing it. Nobody wants to stay at home but this Covid-19 Pandemic has forced us in 2020 and 2021.
Here are top tips you can add in your daily life and you won’t gain any weight maybe you will lose a few kilos too if you follow it right.

How to stay fit? 

  1. Limit your sugar intake: 
    Yes you heard it right, sugars are just empty calories. They have high GI level. Hence the insulin levels rise too quickly and as the result, we start gaining weight. Our main goal when staying fit, trying to lose weight or maintaining health is is to make our metabolism fast so it speeds up the process of burning calories.

2. Eat a frequent meal:


Yes maybe you have read it already many times already. But most of us don’t follow it right? Because we think eating every 3-4 hours is boring and time-consuming or who will cook again and again for us. Frequent eating does not mean you have to prepare a proper meal like your breakfast or lunch. It may just be a snack between your main meals. Like you have one apple, one cup coffee, a zero sugar protein bar or one fist of dry fruits with seeds or something like that. See how easy it is, eating frequent meals.

3. Eat small meals:

Eating full tummy meals most of the time makes us bloated. We won’t feel like eating for hours after it which is bad for our healthy digestive system.

 

4. Always try to wake up early before sunrise:

Yes 6 am is a good time to be up. Most of us sleep late at night. We keep ourselves busy on social media or chatting unnecessarily.  Waking up early boosts your health, gives you more time to be productive. Spend morning time in meditation or yoga or workout. That shall set you up for a good start to your day, in a positive set of mind.

5. Drink water:

Yes you must drink 4 to 5-liter water in a day. When you a take a break from work or study, evey hour or 45 min, make it a habit to drink 1-2 glasses of water. That would be more than enough, if during your working hours, you can fulfil your water quota. Drinking adequate water helps flush out toxins and thats what causes you to lose weight naturally. 

6. Avoid stress:

Being in positive state of mind mind can help you to relieve from daily worries. Try to find a way to sort out your worries. Remember nothing comes easy in life. What other people success we see on social media or TV it comes with years and years of failures and hard work.

 

7. Learn to enjoy it

You must practice to enjoy present moment all the time. Use the present to learn something new, watch new films, read books and enrich yourself. When we give time to ourselves, take good self care, thats one of the best ways to prevent weight gain while staying at home.
